What is NET Ministries?
NET (National Evangelization Teams) Ministries of Canada is a Catholic charity commited to challenging young Catholics to love Christ and embrace the life of the Church. NET Canada recruits and trains teams to evangelize over 28,000 youth every year.

NET's mission, to challenge young Catholics to love Christ and embrace the life of the Church, is accomplished by:
- Proclaiming the Gospel of Christ through a personal witness of faith
- Inviting young people to live for Christ
- Forming young people in Christian character through the study and practice of our faith
- Equipping youth workers and young adults with the ministry skills needed for evangelization.

Our churches are not as full as we would like them to be, vibrant young people who want to share their faith are stepping out and volunteering to share the gospel message with us.

These times of complexity, God wants all of us to make a difference in the lives of others by repairing a broken world...repairing a broken heart. This can simply be done by acts of charity. Sharing Jesus' love with others. Our volunteers do just that.

How do I get NET?

How do I join NET?

Are you between the ages of 18 and 30 and excited about your Catholic faith? Are you looking for a once-in-a-lifetime adventure where you can live like a modern-day apostle and share your faith with youth?

We are looking for single men and women to spend nine months sharing the Gospel with 28,000 youth across Canada and Ireland. As part of a team, members dedicate themselves to prayer, sacraments, service and fellowship while sharing their faith.

The retreat teams minister from September to June across Canada and Ireland. As a NET team member, you will travel 50,000 kilometres and help facilitate 100 to 150 retreats during the year. You will personally share your faith and pray with approximately 700 youth from coast to coast. You'll share with youth about what God has done in your life, sing songs, perform dramas, teach young people how to pray, spend a lot of time travelling in a van, form lifelong friendships with your teammates, and learn how to read a road map like nobody's business. Sounds like a challenge? It is. But don't worry we'll teach you how to do it all.

The parish-based teams implement the Eucharistic-centered program called LIFETEEN by inviting young people to join them in different activities that promote healthy relationships, deeper faith in the sacraments, a personal and active relatioship with Jesus, and impart Christian values found the traditions of the Roman Catholic faith. Teams will leave the legacy of the program behind when they leave at the end of the ministry year by recruiting and training volunteers in the parish to take over the program. A youth minister will be hired at the end of the teams commitment to ensure the programs longevity.
